Background

Client was a large PE firm, owner of an international group of Specialty Chemicals. They had 27 plants worldwide out of which 4 in the Europe were in the scope of this project. The indirect spend was € 25M. Top end spend included Equipment rentals, labor services and Waste management.

Consulting firm was tasked with streamlining spend management for top-end spend and rationalising vendor base.
